The track is called CBD because the only notes used are C, B and D. All the Synths and Effects are from SynthStudio Pack I and the sequencing was done in Reaper 3.

All the sounds are presets. In order of appearance:

I'm busy working on a DR WHO audio play at the moment (editing, SFX & music). I find SSP and Janus and WaveSphere particularly useful for this. I have used these and your older instruments like The Grapefruit on other plays in the past with good results. SynthStudio Pack is great value and most importantly; inspirational.

It's official! Janus 3.5 makes a very noteable appearance in Evening Trains, which looks very like being the title song to Granville's next CD. I'm using the Lovely Strings preset, tweaked only by decreasing the attack and sustain. TOTALLY FNUCKNG LOVELY INDEED! I've managed to pull out references to both Gary Numan and David Bowie (think the LOW album) with this preset, along with some heavy Floyd influence. Something I've noticed about Janus's sound: it slices through a mix in the most amazing way. I don't know what it is, but this thing's like a warm knife through butter.

I think I could make every sound off Kraftwerk's Trans Europe Express album with Castor

Pollux is a lot like my old Arp Axxe and capable of some nice bass and e-piano sounds

I just gotta say that I bought Benedict's pack, the effects are excellent. The chorus (DEPTH II) alone is worth much, much more than $7.50; it sounds killer for huge guitar sounds! The reverb/delay effects are unique and very good too. You can get some interesting sounds with these - this pack is like mod overload!
