The Belin & Dusseldorf Schools of elctronic music were hugely influential. Not just on people like me who contunie to compose in those styles, but to musicians who now seem unrelated and have probably never even heard of Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk. This album came very quiclky after "Mountain & The Lowlands". Initially I thought too quickly but I am very pleased with the music.
Track titles largely reflect the order in which they were written. For those in the know they also reference a range of electronic instruments from Roland. The only one of the instruments I ever owned was a TR-60 Drummatix, but then only for a week as it didn't have MIDI. Silly me!
