For the first 10 years of my composing career I largely worked under 'band' names. It wasn't till late 1999 that I really started to believe that I could or should work under my full, real name.
The covers show the first release under each name (cassettes and CDs). With the exception of one album (Vector) I have always done my own cover artwork. In the early days it was all photocopiers. I then introduced some of my own drawings when I couldn't comfortably use cut & paste. Finally I got my first Apple Mac and that came with basic drawing tools and it has been all computer art since. |

Aeroplastic Voice was my attempt at firstly emulating New Wave artists like Gary Numan and Ultravox and then EBM Industrial artists like Front 242 and Skinny Puppy. Other things got thrown in too along the way. |  |
Destructor Creator Destructor was a one off experiment in writing Heavy Metal with electronics. I really wanted to form a live band to play the songs but it never happened - a shame because I always wanted to be a metal god! | |||

Benedict was the other, softer, half of me that I felt I couldn't express whilst working under my other guises. Benedict releases tended toward the New Age. |  |
Column 3-57 was really just an earlier evolution of the style that I compose in now. Some of the earlier work is quite Berlin School and New Wave at the same time. 'Solaris' & 'Gods' were labelled as Column 3-57 albums but really they were the point of change to composing under my own name. |
